The short version: this app does not collect, transmit, or store your data anywhere except on your own device. There is no server, no account, no analytics, and no advertising in this app.
What data the app uses, and where it lives
GLP-1 Tracker lets you log your weight, medication doses, injection sites, side effects, hunger levels, and personal notes. All of this information is stored locally on your device only, using your device's own local app storage. It is never sent to us, to the app developer, or to any third party.
We do not operate a server or database of any kind for this app. There is nothing for us to access, because nothing leaves your device.
Notifications
If you turn on dose reminders, the reminder is scheduled directly on your device by iOS itself, based on the dose dates you've logged and the reminder frequency you set. This scheduling happens entirely on-device — no dose information, medication name, or reminder setting is ever sent to us or to any external service.
Face ID
If you enable the optional app lock, your device's Face ID is used to unlock the app. This authentication happens entirely within Apple's own Face ID system on your device. We never receive, see, or store any biometric data — Apple does not share this with app developers, and neither do we.
Exporting your data
The app includes an optional backup/export feature. If you use it, a file containing your logged data is created and handed to iOS's native share sheet, so you can choose where to send it (for example, saving it to Files, or sharing via Messages or email). This only happens if you actively choose to export — it is never automatic, and we have no visibility into where you choose to send it, since the file is handled entirely by your device's own sharing system, not by us.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
This app contains no analytics software, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not know who is using the app, how often, or how.
Data deletion
Since all data lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it. Deleting the app removes all logged data permanently. There is no account to delete and no server-side copy to request removal of, because none exists.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 17, consistent with its Health & Fitness category and its handling of personal medical information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is ever updated, the date at the top of this page will change. Since the app has no way to contact you directly (there being no accounts or data collection), please check this page periodically if you'd like to stay informed.
